A 6 year old girl was reportedly sexually assaulted by a labourer at a private school in Uttar Pradesh, according to police reports on Wednesday. The incident has sparked outrage, with the school management facing accusations of trying to suppress the matter.
Incident Occurs During School Hours
Inspector Dhruv Bhushan Dubey, in charge of the Sector-24 police station, confirmed that the alleged assault took place on Tuesday morning. According to the girl’s family, the labourer assaulted her while she was playing on the school premises.
Girl Informs Teachers, But Allegations of Suppression Arise
After the incident, the girl reported it to her teachers, and the school principal was immediately informed. However, the family has alleged that the school management attempted to cover up the matter rather than take swift action.
Police Search for the Accused
The local police have launched a search to arrest the accused labourer. Authorities are investigating the case thoroughly, ensuring justice for the victim.
