Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s Hebrew-language account on social media platform X was suspended after only two posts, as reported by The Jerusalem Post.
The final post, made on Sunday, read: “The Zionist regime made a mistake and miscalculated regarding Iran. We will make them understand the strength, capability, and determination of the Iranian nation.”
Khamenei’s first Hebrew post on Saturday said, “In the name of Allah, the merciful.” These statements followed Israel’s strikes on Iranian military sites last week.
Khamenei regularly posts in Hebrew on his main X account, often expressing strong views on Israel.
On Sunday, Khamenei addressed Israel’s recent airstrikes. He advised against exaggerating their impact but also cautioned Iran not to downplay them. “They are misjudging Iran’s strength,” he noted in a statement on his website. He emphasized Israel’s limited understanding of Iran’s “power, capability, and determination.”
Iran reported that Israeli airstrikes targeted its military sites, leading to the deaths of two Iranian soldiers. Israel’s strikes hit missile manufacturing facilities, surface-to-air missile systems, and other military assets.
Afterward, Israel stated its mission was “fulfilled” and confirmed its warplanes returned safely. Iran acknowledged the strikes impacted bases in Tehran, Khuzestan, and Ilam provinces, causing “limited damage.”
