Rajnath Singh Praises Omar Abdullah’s Efforts
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh praised Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah for bridging the emotional gap between Kashmir and Delhi. He said the BJP government treats both regions equally.
Addressing a veterans’ rally in Akhnoor, Singh noted past governments failed to connect Kashmir with the rest of the country. “Previous leaders treated Kashmir differently. This caused a disconnect. Our government’s key achievement is bridging the gap,” he said.
Singh commended Abdullah for taking positive steps. “I congratulate Omar Abdullah for working to reduce this gap. His efforts are commendable,” he added.
Strong Words for PoK Leaders
Singh criticized PoK Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwarul Haq for his remarks against India. He asserted that Jammu and Kashmir is incomplete without PoK.
“Jammu and Kashmir includes PoK. It has always been an integral part of India. No statement can change this reality,” Singh said firmly.
Equal Treatment for Kashmir and Delhi
Singh extended festive greetings to the veterans present at the rally. He emphasized that the government treats Akhnoor and Kashmir the same as Delhi.
“Your presence here shows our commitment. We hold Akhnoor and Kashmir close to our hearts, just like Delhi,” he concluded.
