The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) unveiled a new online portal, aapkibachat.com, on Sunday. This platform allows Delhi residents to calculate their savings from free welfare schemes provided by the AAP-led government.
At a press conference, AAP national spokesperson Priyanka Kakkar announced the launch. She explained that the portal helps users check savings from initiatives like free electricity and water. Kakkar emphasized that these schemes save residents at least ₹25,000 monthly.
Additionally, Kakkar highlighted future promises if AAP is re-elected in the upcoming assembly elections. These include free healthcare for seniors under the Sanjeevani Yojana, free bus rides for students, and a 50% discount on metro fares. She claimed these measures would boost monthly savings by ₹10,000, totaling ₹35,000.
The Delhi Assembly elections are set for February 5, with results on February 8. AAP aims for a third consecutive term after winning 62 of 70 seats in 2020.
The portal aims to showcase the financial benefits of AAP’s welfare schemes, reinforcing their appeal to voters ahead of the elections.
