Comedian Samay Raina recently appeared on Kaun Banega Crorepati 16 with Bhuvan Bam, Tanmay Bhat, and Kamiya Jani. A viral clip from the episode sparked rumors. It showed Samay joking about veteran actress Rekha.
In the clip, Samay asks Amitabh Bachchan, “What’s the similarity between you and a circle?” He then quips, “Aap dono ke paas Rekha nahi hai.” The joke made Big B and Tanmay laugh. But did Samay actually say this?
News18 reported the video was doctored. Editors altered Samay’s voice and lip movements. A glitch appears when he starts speaking. The rest of the clip uses real footage to seem authentic.
However, Samay and Amitabh shared genuine funny moments. Samay joked, “I’m here only because you haven’t seen my work. If you had, Sony’s team would need a lifeline.”
In another moment, Samay called Big B his grandmother’s crush. He humorously recalled disguising as Amitabh to enter Jalsa bungalow, leading to a scolding.
