Arvind Kejriwal’s Open Letter to Mohan Bhagwat: Five Questions on Modi’s Leadership
Delhi’s former Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Arvind Kejriwal has written an open letter to RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, raising five crucial questions about Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership.
Kejriwal’s Questions on Leadership Rules
In his letter, Kejriwal questioned why the retirement rule applied to senior BJP leader Lal Krishna Advani, who stepped down at 75, does not apply to Modi. He pointed out the inconsistency and asked, “Why does this rule not apply to PM Modi?”
Kejriwal’s Critique of Modi’s Political Moves
Kejriwal also criticized Modi’s actions regarding a political leader accused of a ₹70,000 crore scam. “In June 2023, Modi accused a leader of corruption, but soon after, formed a government with him. Doesn’t this disturb you?” he asked Bhagwat.
Concerns About Misuse of Central Agencies
In his letter, Kejriwal raised concerns about the misuse of central agencies like the CBI and ED for political gains. He asked, “Is it acceptable to the RSS that power is being seized dishonestly using CBI-ED?”
Call for Unity Under the National Flag
Concluding the letter, Kejriwal emphasized the responsibility of ensuring that the national flag waves high with pride. “It is our duty to see the tricolor soar proudly in the sky,” he wrote, urging all Indians to reflect on these pressing questions.
This bold letter from Kejriwal to Bhagwat highlights significant issues in Indian politics, calling for accountability and transparency in leadership.
