Avadh Ojha Joins AAP
Famous UPSC mentor Avadh Ojha joined the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Monday in New Delhi. Ojha, popularly called “Ojha Sir,” took this step in the presence of Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia.
A Vision for Education Reform
Ojha thanked AAP leaders for welcoming him into politics. He expressed his goal to improve India’s education system. Arvind Kejriwal highlighted Ojha’s ability to inspire youth and prepare them for employment.
Ojha’s entry comes as AAP gears up for Delhi elections early next year. His addition is expected to energize the party’s campaign as it seeks a third term.
Ojha’s Journey to Prominence
Born in Gonda, Uttar Pradesh, Ojha grew up in a family where education was valued. His father worked as a postmaster, and his mother practiced law. Though his parents wanted him to pursue medicine, Ojha aimed to crack the UPSC exam.
After failing the exam, Ojha started teaching. He established his own coaching institute in Mukherjee Nagar, Delhi, in 2005. Later, in 2019, he expanded his efforts by founding Iqra IAS Academy in Pune.
A New Chapter in Politics
With his expertise in teaching and deep understanding of current affairs, Ojha is expected to contribute significantly to AAP’s vision for education and development. His videos on UPSC preparation, politics, and history have already made him a popular figure online.
Ojha’s move to politics reflects his commitment to fostering change at a national level.
