The Champions Trophy 2025 advertisement has reignited the fierce India-Pakistan cricket rivalry. The thrilling ad features Hardik Pandya, Shaheen Afridi, Phil Salt, and Mohammad Nabi in a museum heist theme.
In the ad, Shaheen Afridi hangs upside down from the ceiling with Shadab Khan’s help, trying to reach the trophy where as Hardik Pandya skillfully dodges laser beams protecting the prize, while Mohammad Nabi and Phil Salt join the chase, adding excitement to the storyline.
Meanwhile, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) confirmed it would adhere to all ICC jersey guidelines for the tournament. Secretary Devajit Saikia clarified that India’s jerseys would include the tournament host details, despite reports suggesting otherwise.
The ninth edition of the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy will take place from February 19 to March 9, 2025. Matches will be played in Pakistan and Dubai, with India playing all its games in Dubai. The much-awaited India-Pakistan clash is scheduled for February 23.
India’s campaign begins against Bangladesh on February 20, with the final league game against New Zealand on March 2.
Group A includes Pakistan, India, New Zealand, and Bangladesh. Group B features Australia, Afghanistan, England, and South Africa. A total of 15 matches will be played, keeping fans glued to this thrilling tournament.
