Arvind Kejriwal, AAP’s national convener, leads the party’s campaign. He resigned as Chief Minister after securing bail in a corruption case. The 56-year-old insists he will only return as CM after voters deliver their verdict. Former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia also plans to join the cabinet if the party wins. Central agencies arrested Kejriwal, Sisodia, Sanjay Singh, and Satyendra Jain in corruption cases. AAP calls these actions political vendetta, accusing the BJP of misusing investigative agencies.
AAP highlights its achievements in education and health to secure votes. It also promises Rs 2,100 for women and free medical care for the elderly.
The BJP accuses AAP of corruption and mismanagement. The party claims Kejriwal misused public funds to renovate his residence, predicting AAP’s defeat.
