NDMC Vice Chairman Kuljeet Singh Chahal and Media Head Praveen Shankar Kapoor were also present.
Key Proposals Discussed

Kamaljeet Sehrawat pushed for quick completion of the ‘In-Situ Housing Scheme.’ The scheme aims to improve living conditions for slum residents. She emphasized including more slum areas under the project to provide better homes and services for the underprivileged.
Proposals to Reduce Congestion and Pollution
Manoj Tiwari called for expanding metro links to Central Vista. He also suggested connecting Delhi Airport with Dwarka and Gurugram. Additionally, he proposed extending the Tughlakabad metro line to Kalindi Kunj and Jaitpur.
The MPs recommended developing corridors like the Delhi-Saharanpur-Neemrana-Behror Corridor and Delhi-Karnal NaMo Bharat Corridor. They also pushed for fast-tracking projects such as the Gurugram-Faridabad-Noida link and the Delhi Airport to Jewar Airport connection.
Bidhuri echoed the need to expand housing schemes. He said it’s essential to cover more areas to uplift marginalised communities.
The MPs stressed that these projects would improve living standards and reduce travel time for Delhi residents.
