Exit Polls Predict BJP’s Comeback in Delhi, AAP Struggles
The BJP is expected to win the 2025 Delhi Assembly elections by a comfortable margin, according to NDTV’s updated poll of exit polls. Fresh data from Today’s Chanakya, Axis My India, and CNX, released Thursday evening, suggests that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s party is set to return to power in the capital after a 26-year gap.

The updated poll of exit polls now gives the BJP 42 seats, six more than the majority mark. In contrast, the AAP, which dominated the 2015 and 2020 elections, is predicted to win only 27 seats, a significant drop from its previous 67 (2015) and 62 (2020) victories.
Congress Falls Flat Again
The Congress continues to struggle in Delhi, with exit polls predicting just one seat or possibly none. The party’s inability to form a pre-poll alliance with AAP—despite collaborating on a national level—has raised concerns about its electoral strategy.
AAP Dismisses Poll Predictions
AAP has outrightly rejected the exit poll findings. Party leader Sushil Gupta told ANI, “This is our fourth election. Exit polls have underestimated us before, but Arvind Kejriwal has worked for Delhi. We will win and form the government.”
Two agencies, WeePreside and Mind Brink, still predict a victory for AAP, giving it 46-52 and 44-49 seats, respectively. Matrize remains undecided, placing BJP at 35-40 and AAP at 32-37.
Final Results Awaited
Delhi’s 70 constituencies voted in a single phase on Wednesday. The final vote counting will take place on Saturday, revealing whether BJP’s comeback or AAP’s resilience will shape Delhi’s future.
