On August 2, Drishti announced through a press release their commitment to providing financial assistance of ₹10 lakh each to the families of four students—Nilesh Rai, Shreya Yadav, Tanya Soni, and Nivin Dalvin—who tragically lost their lives in separate accidents in Old Rajendra Nagar last month.
Following the announcement, Drishti’s team, with support from the Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor’s Office and Delhi Police, swiftly gathered the necessary contact details of the families involved. They approached each family with the utmost care to ensure that their dignity was respected during the process. After careful deliberation, all four families graciously accepted Drishti’s offer.
Despite the fact that these students were not directly affiliated with Drishti, the institution believes in a collective responsibility among educational organizations during such tragic circumstances. Drishti expressed profound gratitude to the families for their willingness to accept the financial support.
With deep appreciation, Team Drishti reaffirms its commitment to supporting the community during difficult times.
