Gym Owner Shot Dead in South Delhi’s GK 1
Fatal Shooting in South Delhi
A 35-year-old gym owner, Nadir Shah, was shot dead in the posh GK 1 area of South Delhi on Thursday night. CCTV footage captured the horrifying moment when a shooter opened fire on a busy road.
Chilling CCTV Footage
In the footage, Shah, of Afghan origin and a resident of CR Park, is seen talking to another man near parked cars. At 10:40 p.m., a man in a chequered shirt approaches and starts firing. One man ducks and escapes while the shooter continues firing at Shah.
Shooter Escapes
After firing six to eight rounds, the shooter fled the scene on a motorcycle parked nearby. Police later found empty cartridges and bullet fragments at the spot.

Shah’s Condition
Severely injured, Shah was rushed to Max Hospital by his friends, but he was declared dead on arrival. Deputy Commissioner of Police Ankit Chauhan confirmed that the attackers arrived on a two-wheeler and fled immediately after the shooting.
Gang Member Claims Responsibility
Rohit Godara, an aide of Goldy Brar from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, claimed responsibility for the murder in a social media post. He stated the killing was ordered after receiving a message from his jailed associate, Samir Baba, alleging Shah was interfering in their business.
Shah’s Background
Police revealed that Shah also ran a business in Dubai and had multiple criminal cases against him. He was believed to be an informant who had connections with senior officials in the Delhi Police.
