Enhanced Connectivity and Commuter Relief
This extension will offer major relief to daily commuters, connecting the two states more effectively. During a press conference, Gahlot emphasized that the project will significantly enhance connectivity and reduce travel time between Delhi and Haryana.

Extended Corridor Details
The Delhi portion of the corridor will now stretch from 22.91 km to 23.737 km. Additionally, the Haryana section will cover 2.726 km, making the entire stretch from Narela to Nathupur 26.463 km long.
Additional Stations in Haryana
Originally planned to have 19 stations, the corridor will now include two additional stations, both in Haryana. This extension aims to improve the daily commute for residents in both states.
Government’s Vision for Public Transport
Under Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s leadership, the expansion of the Metro network is a key initiative. It aims to reduce road congestion, promote public transportation, and combat pollution. Gahlot highlighted that this extension is a gift to residents, making daily travel more efficient and sustainable.
Progress on Other Corridors
