IISER Aptitude Test 2025: Registration, Exam Date, and Eligibility
The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) will begin registration for the IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) 2025 on March 10, 2025. The initial registration date was March 5, but it has been revised. The application deadline is April 15, 2025, and candidates will have the opportunity to correct their application details between April 21-22, 2025. Admit cards will be available for download from May 15, 2025.

Exam Mode and Pattern
The IAT 2025 will be a computer-based test (CBT) conducted across multiple centers in India. The exam will take place on May 25, 2025, at 9 AM.
- The test will have 60 multiple-choice questions (MCQs).
- Subjects: Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics (15 questions each).
- Total duration: 180 minutes.
- Each question will have only one correct answer.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible, candidates must meet the following conditions:
- Must have passed Class 12 (or equivalent) in 2023, 2024, or 2025 with a science stream from a COBSE-recognized board.
- Should have studied at least three subjects from Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics.
- For admission to specific programs like BS-MS in Computational & Data Sciences (IISER Kolkata), B.Tech (IISER Bhopal), BS in Economic Sciences (IISER Bhopal), and BS in Economic & Statistical Sciences (IISER Tirupati), Mathematics in Class 12 is mandatory.
Minimum Marks Required:
- SC/ST/PwD candidates: At least 55% aggregate in Class 12.
- Other categories: At least 60% aggregate in Class 12.
