IIT Delhi & University of Queensland Launch Joint PhD Admission for 2025
The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi and University of Queensland (UQ), Australia, have announced the commencement of admissions for their joint PhD programme for the July 2025 intake. This collaboration provides students with a unique academic experience, including a higher fellowship than standard domestic PhD programmes.
Currently, the programme has over 100 enrolled students, and applications are open to talented candidates from diverse fields, including science, technology, engineering, mathematics, humanities, and social sciences.
Programme Structure & Benefits
Selected candidates will have the opportunity to spend:
✅ One year at the University of Queensland’s Brisbane campus
✅ Three years at IIT Delhi
Additionally, all successful applicants will receive a scholarship for up to four years, covering tuition and other academic expenses. This initiative aims to provide students with global research exposure and a platform for cutting-edge innovation.
