Jammu and Kashmir People’s Conference (JKPC) chief Sajjad Lone is leading in the Handwara constituency with 5,298 votes. He is followed by Chowdry Mohammad Ramzan from the National Conference (NC).
However, Lone is trailing in Kupwara. In this seat, Jammu & Kashmir Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)’s Mir Mohammad Fayaz is leading by 8,985 votes. Nasir Aslam Wani of NC and Sajjad Lone follow Fayaz in this contest.
