Kejriwal Alleges BJP’s Voter Luring Tactics
In a heated election atmosphere, Arvind Kejriwal has made a serious accusation against the BJP. The AAP leader claimed that the BJP is distributing gold chains to sway voters. He alleged that the chains were sent by BJP leadership but were being pocketed by local leaders.
Kejriwal advised Delhi residents to take the chains if offered but warned them not to compromise their votes. “Your vote is valuable. It decides your future and your children’s future,” he said.
Kejriwal’s Message to Delhi Voters
In a post on X, Kejriwal criticized the BJP. He called them a “slangs party” and accused them of lacking a real agenda for Delhi. Instead of focusing on issues, the BJP was resorting to abuses, he claimed.
“Now they have sent gold chains to distribute among voters. But local leaders are not handing them out. People demanding chains at their offices are getting them to avoid complaints,” Kejriwal said.
He urged voters to accept these chains if they wanted, but he warned them not to sell their votes. “Don’t vote for those buying votes. Choose anyone but avoid parties that offer money or gifts,” he added.
BJP Hits Back at Kejriwal
BJP MP Manoj Tiwari dismissed Kejriwal’s allegations. He claimed that Kejriwal had lost mental stability due to his failure to deliver on promises.
“We heard Kejriwal today, and it’s clear he has lost his mental balance. He keeps abusing Delhi instead of working,” Tiwari said.
Tiwari accused Kejriwal of being a sellout. He said the AAP leader works for liquor traders and treats Delhi residents as sellouts.
The Road Ahead for Delhi Elections
Delhi is heading for a tough three-way contest in the February 5 elections. The ruling AAP, the BJP, and the Congress are locked in a fierce battle. The AAP, seeking a third consecutive term, is pushing hard to maintain its hold.
In the last Assembly polls, AAP won 62 out of 70 seats, leaving the BJP with only eight. Both AAP and BJP are making serious allegations against each other, including claims of tampering with voter lists.
The campaign is intense, with both parties aiming to win over Delhi’s voters. While Kejriwal is emphasizing governance, the BJP is focused on discrediting AAP’s leadership.
