KPMG Hiring Analyst/Executive for EDD Team
KPMG is recruiting an Analyst/Executive for its Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) team. This position offers the opportunity to work on global projects, assisting international KPMG teams and clients.
Key Responsibilities
As part of the EDD team, you will perform several essential tasks. You will conduct integrity, counterparty, and senior management due diligence checks. These checks help clients assess risks related to reputation, regulations, and jurisdictions.
You will also conduct research using online sources, such as commercial registries and corporate databases. Your work will involve multiple countries and languages. After gathering information, you will translate and summarize it into concise English reports for clients. Delivering these reports promptly is crucial.
Required Skills
KPMG is looking for candidates with strong research abilities. Basic accounting knowledge and an understanding of financial statements are necessary. You should also be familiar with regulatory frameworks and corporate structures. Experience with screening databases like LexisNexis, World Check, and Dow Jones is a plus.
The ability to translate information from foreign languages into English is important. Attention to detail and strong communication skills are mandatory. You should be able to adapt to changing priorities and tight deadlines.
Preferred Skills
A Bachelor’s degree in commerce is preferred. Candidates with 0-1 year of experience in similar roles, particularly in professional services or research teams, are ideal. You should be able to work independently but under appropriate guidance. A positive work ethic, high level of integrity, and the ability to handle confidential information are key traits.
Flexibility in working hours and environments is expected. Proficiency in a foreign language is an added advantage.
