Reports indicate that Manu had applied for the award through the portal. The shooting federation has approached the sports ministry to resolve the issue and ensure her achievements are recognized.
Padma Award Applications
Manu has also applied for the Padma Bhushan and Padma Shri, India’s third and fourth-highest civilian honors. The applications were submitted through the Padma awards portal on September 15, further emphasizing her contributions to Indian sports.
