Despite being fully covered in the Santa suit, Dhoni’s identity was easy to recognize, thanks to a hat with his nickname “Mahi” embroidered on it.

MS Dhoni’s IPL Return

Though Dhoni was retained by CSK for Rs 4 crore, he no longer captains the team. That responsibility has been passed on to opener Ruturaj Gaikwad.
CSK made several smart moves in the auction, securing players like New Zealand’s Devon Conway and Rachin Ravindra at competitive prices. Additionally, veteran spinner Ravichandran Ashwin, who recently retired from international cricket, will also rejoin CSK for the 2025 season.
