Navjot Singh Sidhu, once a regular on The Kapil Sharma Show, is making a comeback. After leaving the show in 2019, he recently appeared in an episode of Kapil Sharma’s new Netflix series, The Great Indian Kapil Show. In the unaired episode, Sidhu enjoyed himself and even reclaimed his iconic chair.
Why Sidhu Left the Show
During an interview with The Grain Talk Show on YouTube, Sidhu was asked about his departure. He offered a diplomatic response, saying, “There were political reasons I don’t want to discuss. Other factors were also involved, and the bouquet fell apart.”
For those unaware, his exit sparked rumors that his comments on the Pulwama attack led to his removal.
Praises for Kapil Sharma
Sidhu didn’t hold back his admiration for Kapil Sharma. “The Kapil Sharma Show was a divine bouquet,” he said. “Kapil came to me after Bigg Boss, and everything aligned perfectly. Each member of the cast was chosen for their unique talent.”
He also recalled supporting Kapil during his tough times. “When Kapil was struggling, people said he was finished. I told them Kapil is a ‘20.’ Even if you find a ‘10,’ they can’t match him. Talent performs, but genius does what it must.”
Dreaming of a Reunion
Sidhu expressed his desire for the original cast to reunite. “I hope the bouquet comes together again. I’d gladly facilitate it. Kapil is still a genius,” he said. He fondly remembered former cast members, including Ali Asgar (Dadi) and Sunil Grover (Gutthi). “Sunil is brilliant. He recently regaled everyone in Goa. He’s another genius.”
What’s Next?
The upcoming episode, streaming on November 16, will also feature Navjot Kaur Sidhu, Harbhajan Singh, and Geeta Basra. Fans are eagerly waiting to see Sidhu back in action alongside Kapil Sharma.
