Eligibility Criteria for NIACL AO
Educational Qualifications:
- Generalist Posts: A Graduate or Postgraduate degree in any field from a recognized university. General candidates need a minimum of 60%, while SC/ST/PwBD candidates require at least 55%.
- Specialist Posts: Chartered Accountant (ICAI), Cost and Management Accountant (ICWAI), or MBA/PGDM in Finance with a minimum of 60%.
Applicants must ensure their degree results are declared before September 1, 2024.
Age Limits:
Candidates should be between 21 and 30 years old as of September 1, 2024. Born between September 2, 1994, and September 1, 2003, they are eligible. Age relaxation is available for reserved categories:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
- PwBD: 10 years

Selection Process
The NIACL AO selection process includes:
- Preliminary Exam (Phase I): 100-mark objective test (English, Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude) with a 60-minute duration.
- Main Exam (Phase II): 200-mark objective test and a 30-mark descriptive test. Sections differ for Generalists and Specialists.
- Interview (Phase III): Candidates who pass the Main exam will be called for an interview, which counts for 25% of the final score.
- Final Selection: Based on combined Main exam and interview scores.
