PM Modi Receives Kuwait’s Highest Honor ‘Order of Mubarak Al Kabeer‘ During State Visit
Prime Minister Narendra Modi was awarded Kuwait’s top honor, ‘The Order of Mubarak Al Kabeer,’ on Sunday. This prestigious knighthood order is given to heads of state and foreign royals as a symbol of friendship.
A Prestigious Recognition
The award, previously conferred on leaders like Bill Clinton and Prince Charles, marks Modi’s 20th international honor. During the ceremony at Bayan Palace, he received a grand ceremonial welcome, including a Guard of Honour. Kuwait Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmed Abdullah Al-Ahmed Al-Sabah and Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah were present.
A Legacy of Global Recognition
Last month, PM Modi received Guyana’s highest award, ‘The Order of Excellence,’ during his visit. He also earned the ‘Dominica Award of Honour,’ dedicated to the people of India.
“I dedicate these awards to the 140 crore Indians who inspire me every day,” Modi shared on social media.
Strengthening Ties
During his Kuwait visit, Modi held extensive talks with the Amir, Crown Prince, and Prime Minister of Kuwait. The visit underscores the strengthening of bilateral ties and marks a historic moment in India-Kuwait relations.
The Ministry of External Affairs shared updates, calling the welcome “special” and highlighting the significance of the talks.
