
PM Modi Leads Roadshow in Visakhapatnam
On Wednesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi led a mega roadshow in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. He also initiated projects worth ₹2 lakh crore in the city.
Roadshow Details
The roadshow started from Sampath Vinayak temple. It moved towards Andhra University’s engineering college ground. PM Modi, accompanied by Andhra Pradesh’s Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan, rode atop an open vehicle. Crowds lined the route, showering flowers on the leaders.
Decorations and Participation
The entire route was adorned with flags from TDP, BJP, and Janasena. This visual spectacle highlighted the political alliance.
Project Launches
PM Modi laid the foundation stone for a railway zone. He also inaugurated NTPC’s integrated green hydrogen hub at Pudimadaka in Anakapalli district. Additionally, he dedicated several projects to the nation, focusing on rail and road sectors.
PM Modi’s Vision for Andhra Pradesh
In his address, PM Modi emphasized Andhra Pradesh’s potential. He stated, “Our Andhra Pradesh is a state of possibilities and opportunities.” He highlighted the state’s aim to become a 2.5-trillion-dollar economy by 2047. He praised the ‘Swarna Andhra @ 2047’ initiative by Chandrababu Naidu’s government. He also spoke about central government support to achieve this vision.
Focus on Futuristic Technologies
Modi remarked, “It is time for Andhra to become a hub of new futuristic technologies.” He mentioned the green hydrogen hub in Visakhapatnam, which promises job creation and a robust manufacturing ecosystem.
Urbanization and Industrial Projects
The Prime Minister also laid the foundation for the Bulk Drug Park in Nakkapalli and the Krishnapatnam Industrial Area. These initiatives aim to showcase Andhra Pradesh as a model for new-age urbanization.
CM Naidu’s Remarks
During the event, CM N Chandrababu Naidu praised Modi’s leadership. He expressed inspiration from Modi’s strategies and commitment to completing the Amravati project, which he described as one of the best cities envisioned by Modi.
This visit not only showcased significant project launches but also reinforced the political and developmental alliance between the central and state governments.
