Punjab Cabinet Finalizes Budget Session Dates
The Punjab Cabinet has set the Budget session from March 21 to 28, with the Budget presentation scheduled for March 26. The decision came during a meeting chaired by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann.
Key Decisions Taken in Cabinet Meeting
Apart from Budget discussions, the Cabinet approved:
- Opening of 40 new skill development schools
- Departmental reports of eight government departments
Meeting Faced Delays
The meeting, initially set for 11 AM at CM Mann’s residence, began late. Ministers Aman Arora, Laljit Singh Bhullar, and Dr. Baljit Kaur arrived on time but left after waiting 30 minutes, as the meeting was postponed by an hour.
Ministers returned at 1 PM, and the discussion lasted just over an hour.
