Rajneet Kaur Wins Big in Powerlifting and Bodybuilding
Chandigarh, February 15 – Punjab’s sports scene is thriving, and Rajneet Kaur is a shining example of this success. A dedicated powerlifter and bodybuilder, she also serves as a Food Inspector in the Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs Department in Chandigarh.
She recently won a gold medal in the North India Powerlifting Championship in the 57 kg senior group. Adding to her achievements, she secured a bronze medal in the 1st Physique Sports Championship in the Ladies Model Physique category.
An Impressive List of Achievements
Rajneet’s journey in sports is remarkable. She clinched gold in the Women’s category at the 12th Mr./Ms. Chandigarh Championship 2024, organized by the Indian Body Builders Federation, which is recognized by the Union Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports.
She also won gold in powerlifting in the 57 kg senior category (31-40 years) at Khedan Watan Punjab Diyan in Bathinda. Additionally, she triumphed in a bench press competition at Goraya in the 57 kg senior category.

Rajneet credits Punjab’s sports-friendly initiatives for her success. She believes the state’s focus on infrastructure and athlete support is helping sportspersons reach new heights.
She also secured the top position in the Ms. Chandigarh Championship organized by the Indian Body Builders Federation in the Female Bikini category.
