Bajaj Auto has discontinued its CT125X commuter bike in India. The move follows poor sales performance in the 125 cc segment. The CT125X was one of Bajaj's most affordable models. Priced at ₹74,106 (ex-showroom), it offered a budget-friendly option for commuters. However, the growing demand for premium bikes affected its sales. The CT125X is the third model Bajaj pulled from the market recently. The company also discontinued the Pulsar F250 and Platina 110 ABS. All three models have been removed from Bajaj’s official website. Despite discontinuing the CT125X, Bajaj still offers the CT110X. The CT110X remains a popular option for budget-conscious buyers. The CT125X featured a 124.4 cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine. It produced 10.7 bhp at 8,000 rpm and 11 Nm torque at 5,500 rpm. It came with a five-speed transmission. Bajaj also stopped selling the Platina 110 ABS due to low demand. The drum brake variant of the Platina 110 is still available. The Pulsar F250 was discontinued just seven months after an update. Bajaj made this decision after the bike’s underwhelming sales. With these changes, Bajaj is likely shifting its focus to more premium and higher-performing motorcycles.
