He had spent several days in Thane citing health reasons, sparking speculation of rifts within the coalition. However, he returned to Mumbai on Tuesday and confirmed his participation in the new cabinet. BJP Emerges as the Largest Party The BJP-Shiv Sena-NCP alliance secured a landslide victory in the recent Maharashtra elections, winning 235 seats. The BJP led with 132 seats, becoming the largest party in the state assembly. The swearing-in ceremony is set for 5:30 PM on Thursday, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi expected to attend. Fadnavis expressed confidence in the coalition’s future. “The work done by our Mahayuti government in the past two-and-a-half years is historic. We will continue to make decisions that serve the people of Maharashtra,” he stated. With this reshuffle, the Mahayuti government aims to strengthen its leadership and deliver on its electoral promises.
