Institute's Response IIT Guwahati expressed deep sorrow over the student's death. An official statement from the institute extended condolences to the family, friends, and loved ones of the deceased. The institute remains committed to providing a safe and supportive environment for all students," a spokesperson said. The incident has reignited concerns about the mental health resources available to students at the institute.
