BSF Soldier Injured in Ceasefire Violation by Pakistan Ahead of Elections A BSF soldier sustained injuries in an unprovoked ceasefire violation by Pakistani forces along the Akhnoor border on Wednesday. Around 2:35 AM, Pakistani troops opened fire on Indian posts, breaching the 2021 ceasefire agreement. The BSF retaliated quickly, but it’s unclear if there were any casualties on the Pakistani side.
