The Samajwadi Party (SP) announced its exit from Maharashtra's Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) alliance after a controversial statement by Milind Narvekar, a close aide of Uddhav Thackeray. They staged a walkout during the oath-taking ceremony, alleging that democracy had been undermined.
