When questioned, state BJP general secretary Bhagwan Das Sabnani responded with a simple "Jai Siya Ram." Assembly Speaker Narendra Singh Tomar acknowledged Patel’s statement but defended his intentions. Political Fallout The controversy has put the BJP in a tricky position.
