Islamic Scholars Receive Life Sentence in Conversion Case Court's Verdict A court in Lucknow sentenced Islamic scholars Maulana Kaleem Siddiqui, Umar Gautam, and ten others to life imprisonment. The 2021 case focused on alleged forced religious conversions.
