BPSC Protest: Khan Sir Faces Backlash from Students
For nine days, hundreds of students have protested at Gardanibagh in Patna, demanding a re-examination of the 70th BPSC exam. The protest took a dramatic turn today when Khan Sir, a prominent coaching institute owner, was forced to leave the site. Students accused him of hijacking their movement.
Initially, the protest aimed to focus solely on the students’ demands. However, students claim Khan Sir, along with Rahman Sir, diverted attention to their political agendas. Both educators were accused of using the protest for personal gain, rather than addressing the core issue. Some students even called for their removal from the stage.
Prashant Kishor Shows Support for Students
Meanwhile, Prashant Kishor, founder of Jan Suraj, visited the protest and condemned the police’s use of force against students. He expressed his support for their right to protest and warned the government about its actions. Kishor made it clear that he would stand by the students if they continued their fight.
Rumors and Political Support Fuel the Protest
The protest gained momentum after rumors of a paper leak during the 70th BPSC exam spread. The BPSC denied the claims but ordered a re-examination. Despite this, students have stuck to their demand for the exam’s cancellation.
The movement has drawn support from various political leaders. Tejashwi Yadav, Akhilesh Singh, and Pappu Yadav have voiced their backing. Pappu Yadav even announced a Bihar Bandh to support the protesters, who remain resolute in their demands.
