BJP Promises ₹2,500 Monthly to Women Under Mahila Samridhi Yojana
The BJP announced a monthly allowance of ₹2,500 for women under the “Mahila Samridhi Yojana” in poll-bound Delhi. BJP chief JP Nadda assured that this scheme would get approval in the first Cabinet meeting if the party comes to power.
At the launch of the party’s three-part manifesto, Nadda accused the AAP of not fulfilling its past promises. He mentioned the ₹1,000 monthly allowance announced by AAP last year, which was not implemented. He also pointed out that women in Punjab did not benefit from similar promises by the AAP.
Nadda highlighted that BJP-ruled states are already providing monthly allowances to women. He assured voters that public welfare schemes in Delhi would continue under BJP rule. “We will eliminate corruption and make these schemes stronger,” Nadda said.
The BJP chief urged voters to support the party on February 5. The party prepared its manifesto based on suggestions from 180,000 people and conducted 12,000 meetings for public feedback.
