BJP MLA Claims Cow Slaughter in Uttar Pradesh
Nand Kishore Gujar, BJP MLA from Loni, has made a shocking claim. He stated that around 50,000 cows are being slaughtered daily in Uttar Pradesh. According to him, corrupt officials are misusing funds meant for cow welfare.
“These officers are looting money meant for cows,” Gujar told reporters in Ghaziabad. He said the issue must reach Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
Corruption Allegations Against Officials
Gujar also raised concerns about the negligence of MLAs. He questioned if the Chief Minister was aware of these activities. Recently, a video of two head constables in Loni demanding money surfaced, adding to the controversy.
The MLA warned that if corruption continues, BJP candidates might lose deposits in upcoming elections. However, he expressed confidence in winning 375 seats if officials face action.
Samajwadi Party Criticizes BJP
Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav reacted to Gujar’s remarks. He shared a video clip on social media and accused the BJP of internal conflicts.
“This infighting is harming public interests,” Yadav stated. He claimed the officers are profiting from corruption.
Technical Education Minister in Hot Water
The controversy deepened when Ashish Patel, Technical Education Minister, faced accusations. Pallavi Patel, an SP MLA, alleged corruption in appointing department heads. In response, Patel denied the claims and called it a conspiracy.
He said he won’t resign unless Prime Minister Narendra Modi asks him to step down.
Lynching Over Cow Slaughter Suspicion
In a related incident, a man named Shahe Din was lynched in Moradabad. A mob suspected him of cow slaughter. Police reports confirmed severe injuries to his lungs and liver caused his death.
The attack happened on December 30 at the Mandi Samiti premises. Despite police efforts, Din succumbed to his injuries the next day.
Conclusion
The allegations by Gujar have sparked debates across political lines. While the BJP faces backlash, opposition parties continue to criticize the ruling government for corruption and lawlessness. The focus remains on whether authorities will take action against the accused officials.
