Despite immediate medical attention, he could not be revived and was pronounced dead at 9:51 PM. AIIMS released a statement, confirming his demise due to age-related conditions. It added that resuscitative efforts were initiated promptly but were unsuccessful. Final Rites With State Honors Dr. Singh’s last rites were performed with full state honors at Nigambodh Ghat, Delhi, on December 28 at 11:45 AM. He is survived by his wife and three daughters.
