Many porters revealed that they can barely afford one meal a day. Some have to choose between sending money home or eating themselves. Their voices remain unheard, despite their critical role in railway operations. Rahul Gandhi’s Pledge Gandhi promised to raise their concerns at the highest level. He criticized the neglect they face and vowed to push for better working conditions. “These workers put their lives at risk to save others, yet they remain invisible to the system. I will fight for their rights with all my strength,” he assured. Call for Public Participation Gandhi urged citizens to contribute suggestions on improving crowd control and security at railway stations. He emphasized the need for collective action to prevent such tragedies in the future.
