The new names for the stations are as follows: Jais City replaces Kasimpur Halt, Guru Gorakhnath Dham replaces Jais, Maa Kalikan Dham replaces Misrauli, Swami Paramhans replaces Bani, Maharaja Bijli Pasi replaces Nihalgarh, Maa Ahorva Bhawani Dham replaces Akbarganj, Amar Shaheed Bhale Sultan replaces Wazirganj Halt, and Tapeshwarnath Dham replaces Fursatganj.

The numerical codes for these stations, as listed in the “Alphabetical List of Railway Stations in India,” will remain unchanged. The Secretary-General of IRCA, New Delhi, will issue the necessary updates to reflect the new names and codes.
Samajwadi Party MP Akhilesh Yadav criticized the Uttar Pradesh government for focusing on renaming stations rather than improving their conditions. He expressed his concerns on social media, urging the administration to prioritize railway safety.
Yadav posted on X, “I request the BJP government to change not just the names but also the conditions of the railway stations. And when you get free time from changing names, consider taking action to prevent record-breaking railway accidents.”

… और जब नाम बदलने से फ़ुरसत मिल जाएं तो रिकार्ड कायम करते रेल-एक्सीडेंट्स के हादसों के रोकथाम के लिए भी कुछ समय निकालकर विचार करें।
